Entry Requirements
This course requires no previous learning and your Tutor will be on hand to guide you through the course and learning materials.
You can be in work to access this course.
As this course is funded through the UK Shared prosperity fund the criteria for enrolment are :
You must be aged 16 or over.
Be resident in Cheshire East
Been resident in the UK for the last 3 years.
Who is the course aimed at?
This course is aimed at anyone who has little to no experience with the online world and emails.
What will I study?
This course aims to equip learners with the basic skills, confidence and knowledge to move forward with their digital lives.
The course will cover:
Starting to use the internet
Using your Device
Using email and attachments
Safety and security on line
Working with office programs
Looking for work and much more
How will I be assessed?
There is no formal assessment for this course, but upon completion you will be awarded with a certificate of completion.
Duration
The courses run across 6 weeks at:
Mondays – Macclesfield Library, Jordangate, Macclesfield
Tuesdays – Crewe Library, Lifestyle Centre, Moss Square, Crewe
Thursdays – Riverside, Mountbatten Way, Congleton
