The Tote Project
Springboard is pleased to be offering a brand new course starting
Friday 28th February 2025
We are looking for Cheshire East residents aged 19+ who want to build their CV, develop their work-based skills and reduce plastic waste by being part of The Tote Bag project.
The project will consist of 6 sessions, which will focus on the manufacture, marketing and distribution of reusable, original, recycled, washable, strong bags.
There are 2 available sessions. Participants can choose either:
- Friday morning (9.30 to 12 midday)
- Friday afternoon (12.30 to 3pm)
What will the project offer?
Participants will build connections with professionals and peers.
As well as learning to make machine sewn bags, registered participants will have the opportunity to develop work based skills, including:
Listening; Staying Positive; Resilience; Speaking/Presenting’ Aiming High; Confidence;
Problem-Solving; Teamwork and Independence.
Team members will also be able to gain experience in:
Project Management; Planning; Marketing;
Helping to manage communication channels including social media; and developing their Administrative Support Skills.
