Functional Skills - Maths and English Courses

Functional Skills courses are designed to help you build strong, practical English and maths skills that you can use in everyday life, further study or future career opportunities. Developing your confidence in literacy and numeracy can open doors: employers, training providers and universities all value these essential skills. Our experienced tutors deliver these courses in small, relaxed group settings, offering plenty of individual support. Functional Skills qualifications are also widely accepted by colleges and universities as an alternative to GCSE Maths for entry onto many Higher Education programmes.

Sarah – “I never thought I’d enjoy maths, but the small group and supportive tutor made it feel easy. I’m really proud of how far I’ve come.”

Darren – “Completing Functional Skills English has opened new opportunities for me. It’s given me the qualification and confidence I needed to move forward.”
