Working in Care – An introduction

9.30am – 3.30pm daily, lunch included for the first 3 days.

Springboard has launched a new series of sector based training programmes. These four day courses offer you an insight into working in a specific sector. You gain valuable knowledge about the variety of roles and the responsibilities required working within the sector.

This course requires no previous learning and your Tutor will be on hand to guide you through the course and learning materials.

As this course is funded through the UK Shared prosperity fund the criteria for enrolment are :

You must be aged 16 or over.

Be resident in Cheshire East

Been resident in the UK for the last 3 years.

This course is aimed at anyone who is considering working with the Care sector, or who wishes to gain further insight into the range of opportunities available to them in the industry.

You may working and wish to progress in your role, or perhaps you are looking for a new sector to work in.

You will learn about the roles and responsibilities of the sector.

The skills, knowledge and attributes required by employers.

The scope of the industry and how your skills fit.

Through the training and guidance of the tutor you will complete ongoing workbooks and assessment to achieve a Level 1 Award in Infection Control and Level 1 Award in Safeguarding.
