About Us:

The purpose of Ruby’s Fund is to run an inclusive sensory centre and social cafe for children and young people with additional needs and disabilities, and their families, carers and friends to provide a safe stimulating environment giving individuals and groups the chance to explore and develop in an inclusive setting which is also ideal for therapy, relaxation, education and most importantly friendship and fun.

Main Responsibilities 

This is an exciting opportunity to work in our sensory centre in Congleton, supporting the Thriving Families Team. The role will involve providing support to the Service Development Manager to ensure efficient project delivery in all aspect of our charitable business.  The post holder will be passionate and motivated to support parent carers, siblings and children with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND) and will be an excellent ambassador for Ruby’s Fund.   

Duties will include but not be limited to-  

Taking phone calls and distributing messages 





Social Media management  


Basic use of Microsoft office packages 

Diary Management  

Adhoc tasks as appropriate 

Skills Required

We are looking for somebody who is: 

-Practical, organised with a positive can-do attitude 

-Focused, efficient and not easily distracted  

-Keen to act as first point of contact for visitors, be happy and helpful to our clients 

-An excellent communicator, both written and spoken 

-Willing to learn 

-Confident in handling telephone calls and face to face contact 

-Skilled in IT and social media
