Bring the flavour of Italy into your Kitchen by joining us for our Italian Cookalong Class.

This course is an easy introduction to four essential classic Italian dishes. The £20 ticket buys you entry to all sessions or simply select one session for £6.

Over this course, you’ll learn how to make four different dishes: an aromatic risotto, a traditional Pizza dough, a richly-flavoured tomato sauce with cannelloni, and an authentic lasagne.

All of these dishes will add a new dimension of skills and knowledge of Italian cooking.

We’ll also show you how these dishes can be extended, frozen and prepared in advance, ensuring you are never left without a tasty or nutritious meal, whatever the event.

We will send you out a complete list of equipment and ingredients upon registering for the course.

Our Tutor:

Cath Barton – Learned the ways of family cooking from her mum and gran, she grew up watching them make feasts for all the family to enjoy and this eventually led her to pursue an academic course in all aspects of professional cookery and achieved a a Diploma in Food Hygiene & a Kitchen Management course at Dane Bank College (now South Cheshire).

Throughout her culinary career Cath has enjoyed many professional kitchens, all specialising in cooking from scratch. This led Cath to develop the “Cooking From Scratch Classes” in 2015 for Springboard Training and Work Hubs. This project has helped many families out of food poverty and into understanding the benefits of making meals from scratch and managing a budget she also consults with local community cafe in Congleton The Old Saw Mill. Italian cuisine is one of Cath’s favourites so she’s going to share her secrets with you.
